Südvik Line · Container and bulk shipping since 1962
Every box, exactly where it should be.
Bulk, break-bulk and containers on one network of 260 ports — with schedule integrity we publish every week.

Why shippers choose Südvik
A shipping line that behaves like a schedule, not a forecast.
Schedule integrity we publish
Every Monday we publish last week's on-time performance for all 68 trade lanes. 96.2% over the last 90 days, and you can hold us to it.
One reference, gate to gate
Ocean, inland, customs and insurance under a single booking number. One invoice, one tracking timeline, one person to call.
People in your time zone
Local agents in 121 countries approve your account, confirm space and answer within one business day. No ticket queues.
Services
One network for bulk and boxes.
Six services, one booking reference. Whether it is a single reefer or a Capesize parcel of iron ore, you get the same tracking, the same documents and the same person to call.
The journey of a container
From warehouse floor to open water.
Keep scrolling. Every stage of a shipment, exactly as it happens on the ground.
Packed at origin
Cargo is palletised and stuffed into a Südvik container at the shipper's warehouse. Seal number and verified gross mass are captured digitally.
Lifted onto the chassis
A reach stacker lifts the sealed box onto the truck. The gate-out event posts to your tracking timeline within minutes.
Inland haulage
Carrier haulage moves the container to the terminal by road or rail against a pre-advised appointment.
Terminal lift
A ship-to-shore gantry lifts the container from the chassis and stows it according to the bay plan.
Ocean voyage
The vessel departs on the published date. Waypoint ETAs and milestone emails keep you informed until delivery.
A network you can set your clock by.
Figures updated weekly from vessel AIS and terminal gate data. Schedule integrity is measured against the published proforma at the discharge port.

Customers
“We moved 14,000 TEU with Südvik last year. What changed for us was not the price, it was that the vessel left when the schedule said it would, and someone in Rotterdam picked up the phone when it did not.”

Sustainability
Net zero by 2040. Measured, published, audited.
Twelve methanol dual-fuel vessels on order, an 18% fuel reduction per TEU-km since 2019 and emissions reporting on every booking. The plan is public and so is our progress against it.
